WordPress & WooCommerce development
Production WordPress and WooCommerce sites for clients who need a developer who actually writes code, not just configures plugins. Custom themes, custom plugins, third-party integrations, ongoing maintenance.
Typical project: Building a custom WooCommerce checkout flow with bank integration, or recovering a broken site after a failed migration.
Performance & Core Web Vitals
Diagnostic audits and hands-on optimization for WordPress sites that score poorly on Core Web Vitals or load too slowly. Server-level fixes, caching strategy, image optimization, theme refactoring.
Typical project: Taking a site from 35 to 90+ on PageSpeed Insights without losing functionality, then documenting what changed.
SEO & technical audits
Technical SEO audits with concrete fix lists, not generic recommendations. Schema markup, internal linking, crawl behavior, indexation issues, page speed as a ranking factor.
Typical project: A detailed audit document plus a working session to implement the highest-impact fixes.
AI integration for WordPress
Adding AI features to WordPress and WooCommerce sites in ways that actually work. MCP integration, OpenAI and Anthropic API work, custom Abilities for the new WP AI infrastructure.
Typical project: Building a custom AI assistant for a WooCommerce store that handles product queries against the live catalog.
How I work

Intro call
A free 15-30 minute call to understand what you’re building and whether I’m the right fit. If I’m not, I’ll say so and try to point you toward someone who is.

Scoping
A written scope document with clear deliverables, timeline, and pricing. Fixed-fee for defined projects, hourly for ongoing work. No surprises.

Delivery
Direct communication during the work. Weekly progress updates. Code that ships, documentation that holds up, and honest reports when something is harder than expected.
Who I work with
Most of my client work falls into one of three buckets: businesses running production WooCommerce stores who need a developer who can fix things without breaking other things; founders building WordPress-based products who need technical depth on tap; and teams exploring AI integration who want someone who’s already shipped real implementations.
I work remotely with clients worldwide. Projects typically range from focused 1-2 week engagements to ongoing monthly retainers. I’m based in Norway and operate as Nordic Digi Solutions for invoicing.
If your project is small enough that a freelancer from Upwork would suffice, that’s probably the right call. If it’s large enough to need a full agency, you’re better off with one. I sit in the middle, where the technical decisions matter and continuity matters more than scale.
